“Hi! Yo! He-llo! Don’t ignore me. I know you can sense me. Hi you! Answer me!”
I raised my left hand trying to wave the annoying away, but my right index finger continued clicking the mouse with super quick speed trying to kill the monster so I could complete the final stage.
“Hi, I am talking to you! I do not tolerate your rudeness for not responding to my quests for conversation. I have been asking for over TEN minutes.”
“What do you want?” I stopped playing game. ”You don’t belong to this world. Why don’t you just stay in your corner of my brain QUIETLY?”
“Oh! You finally said a word. Let me ask you, why don’t you write my story down?”
“Your story? I beg your pardon. What do you mean YOUR story?”
“Of course, MY story. I am the main character of the story.”
“Come on! Don’t be ridiculous. You are only one of the potential characters I am thinking about. I created you. Besides, I haven’t decided whether to even write it down. You are not supposed to talk to me. You are supposed to wait for the right time, and then, appear.”
“Look, I don’t want to wait until you abandon me which you have done many times before and you know this is a touching story. It will win you tons of money and a reputation. You know it will.”
“What the hell? How do you know that? You just want to…I guess, you are the one who want to be celebrity. Am I right?”
“No, no, no! It’s just because you letting me crying and screaming by myself for almost half an hour. I think maybe if we can talk a little bit, maybe we can resolve your problems…”
“My problems? How on earth do you know MY problems? I was considering using which method to describe this story. Should I decipher it in medias res or flashback? Should I use allusion or implication? Should it be comic or I can make it as a magical realism? If you said it’s your story, you tell me!”
“Eh…I…oh…perhaps…you can…I think…”
“You have nothing to say, right? You think I hung you there for fun? NO! I was evoking my muse. If I could think of the first sentence, then Muse would guide me with the rest, but you ruined it.”
“You know, it’s not fair! I’m trying to help. You were playing a game and I didn’t know it would disturb you.”
“That’s it, you anonymous IT. You have impressed me indeed, but I don’t need a character with its own personality. You should be an innocent, pure and angellike little boy, but look at you now, a greedy, stupid and evillike nobody. Why don’t you get lost? I don’t need you anymore.”
I picked up my coffee and sipped, washing it with the apparition down into my stomach. Not it’s the time to deliberate another story.
